Box wire is a common binding wire or tie wire.

Specifications
Gauge: Boxed wire is available in 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 gauge 
Box size: Available in 50 and 100 pound boxes.
Material: Boxed wire is available in Galvanized or Black Annealed. 
Tensile Range 65,000 to 75,000 psi (avg. 70,000 psi) 
Elongation: on average 20% or greater.

Applications: Box wire as the banding wire is used in packing or construction.

Black annealed using batch annealing process in bell type furnaces.
